 Mr. Shyam Sunder Paliwal

Padma Shri recipient and pioneer of the “Piplantri Model”, Mr Paliwal turned his small village in Rajasthan into a green, inclusive community by linking the birth of every girl-child with the planting of 111 trees, promoting both gender equity and environmental regeneration.
In his address, he will draw from this extraordinary journey of social innovation and ecological resilience—showing how bold ideas become action and how one person’s vision can meet community energy to produce transformational change. His story is about ideas meeting nature, purpose meeting practice, and empowerment meeting sustainability.
